Shipping & Receiving

Does Container Exchanger handle shipping & handling for orders?

Yes, Container Exchanger has partnered with several transportation and logistics companies across North America. We will manage the entire shipping process, from pick-up to delivery.  We work hard to obtain the lowest freight costs. 

Can I facilitate my own order pick-up?

Yes, in some instances you may request a carrier of your choice. There are Seller locations that may not allow certain carriers due to logistical circumstances; your Dedicated Account Manager will work with you to facilitate pick-up and delivery. 

Can I ship my order to multiple locations?

Yes, you would need to place separate orders for each location. This will create separate invoices, but can be tied to a specific, single Purchase Order.

Can I ship to a residential address?

Yes, we can ship a scheduled delivery to a residential address; however it will require a different type of truck and in some instances a liftgate (additional charges may apply). Be sure to specify Residential Address when you Inquire into the item you wish.

Where is my order shipping from?

Container Exchanger is an online marketplace representing many sellers located across North America. Each product listed on ContainerExchanger.com indicates the location (State and Country) where it will ship from.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A Dedicated Account Manager will provide an estimated time of arrival once you submit an inquiry. There are several factors that could impact order shipment and arrival times, including when order payment is received, ship to/from locations, product availability, inclement weather, etc. Our goal is to expedite every order.

 

Payments

Is there a minimum order total?

No, there is no minimum order total, however most products listed on ContainerExchanger.com have minimum quantity order requirements. The minimum quantity requirements are indicated on every product listing, please review the product listing in detail.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • Wire Transfers 
  • ACH Transfers 
  • Credit Cards (a 2.5% service fee will apply)

I have a tax-exempt number, where do I put it?

Please complete your order and send a copy of your tax exemption letter to Container Exchanger, either by fax (888) 344-2993 or via email sales@containerexchanger.com. Please reference the name of your business or sales order number.

Do you offer finance options?

We work with many finance companies to help our customers purchase the shipping and storage products they need to conduct business. 


Returns

What is your return policy?

Container Exchanger will accept returns of damaged products and/or products that are not representative of the products you ordered (must comply with our Terms and Conditions). Returns are assessed on an individual basis, and may be subject to restock and handling fees. For more information, please visit our Terms and Conditions page. What if there is a problem with my order?

Our mission is to make you happy with your purchase. To resolve your issue quickly, contact us at (888) 551-5528. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm EST; we’re closed on major holidays.

 

Miscellaneous

Can we request samples of products?

There are instances where we may be able to provide a sample for certain products; we do charge for the value of the sample and shipping costs.

Where is Container Exchanger located?

Container Exchanger represents sellers located across North America. Products sold on ContainerExchanger.com are shipped from hundreds of locations.

Do I have to create an account to sell my items on ContainerExchanger.com?

Yes, we require all interested Sellers to create an account on ContainerExchanger.com. Once you create an account, you will be able to list products, update and edit your account anytime. Learn more on how to register a Seller account. Accounts can also be created using our mobile app which can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Does Container Exchanger buy products from Sellers?

Container Exchanger is an online marketplace giving buyers and sellers a centralized, trusted source to transact. In general, we are setup to provide a private sale of your assets on our marketplace in which case your items would not be purchased outright.

On a case by case basis, we may purchase new or used product outright.  If you have something that needs to be purchased and removed immediately, contact sales@containerexchanger.com for consideration; include photos, the product description, quantity for sale, ship from location, and the desired price.
