Stacking Totes

Stackable industrial totes can be great for shipping specialized products in manufacturing. The small industrial containers work best for small assemblies and plastic parts. Often industrial totes contain internal dunnage (specifically designed for your parts). The dunnage protects the parts in the plastic tote containers. Plastic industrial totes are often made from hdpe, a very strong material that enables the containers to last for several years. Over time, these containers offer a significant cost savings when compared with cardboard boxes. While most industrial totes are made from hdpe plastic; wire mesh or fiberglass totes could also fit into this category. These totes rarely have lids, because the products are protected by the stacking nature of the totes.

Plastic packaging manufacturers include: Orbis, Buckhorn, Schaefer and Akro. Other manufacturers exist, but most used plastic totes will come from one of these manufacturers.

At Container Exchanger, we specialize in saving your company money by providing access to used plastic totes from Orbis, Buckhorn, Schaefer, and others. Most of the companies that buy our used containers also discover that they have used plastic packaging or bins that they can sell as well. We will broker any used returnable packaging for your company. We sell these containers throughout the nation and we do our best to maximize ROI for your company.
