Stack & Nest Totes

Stack & Nest industrial totes can be great for WIP or in process totes in manufacturing. These totes can store many kinds of products or goods, and they often work well on conveyors between manufacturing or fulfillment stations. This kind of distribution tote is used extensively in retain and distribution center opreations, because product is protected by the stacking capabilities, and when empty, space savings and shipping savings can be achieved by using the nesting feature of the tote.  These plastic tote containers rarely contain internal dunnage, because that would prevent the tote boxes from nesting within each other. Plastic industrial totes are often made from hdpe, a very strong material that enables the containers to last for several years. Over time, these containers offer a significant cost savings when compared with cardboard boxes. While most industrial totes are made from hdpe plastic; wire mesh or fiberglass totes could also fit into this category. These totes sometimes have attached lids, so that they can be stacked neatly without damaging product.
